Presented for your consideration is this price guide and identification book for antique and vintage textile bags. It is titled, Textile Bags: The Feeding & Clothing of America, and was written by Anna Lue Cook. It was published in 1990 by Books Americana. The 216 page book is printed in black and white and pictures each item individually. Most of the items listed in the book are textile feed, flour, and sugar bags. There are some clothing and quilts that were made from feed bags listed in the book as well. Each photo is accompanied by a paragraph of information about it along with a value price.
The book is complete and the pages are free of damage. Finished with a softcover. Binding is tight. This book is a must have for any textile bag collector! A great way to keep track of your collection!
